Season 2008

In all our years racing, well over 30, we have made many good friends, today sadly we said goodbye to one of our race teams longest 'true mates'  314 Nick Farrer.

Along with brother Chas, they both have always been on hand with advise, spares and even a car over the years and both family's are always in high spirits,

Today, Trev and I and possibly the biggest turn out ever seen at Cambridge witnessed what was to be Nicks final 'lap of Honour'

I can say hand on heart that i shed a tear, not just for the sad time but more for the joy that Nick has brought to so many, a strong family man with the backing of a strong family.
The short oval race drivers are fiercely competitive but also a band of caring people when it counts, travelling from all over the country to pay their respects.

Team Farrer have helped both Trev and me on more occasions than I can count, including a world title win, but Nick really should have got a little more credit for his World win along with several other 'big wins', all done on a small budget, but that was never really a great bother to him, he along with the great team behind him just got on with it.

will miss yer mate,

RESPECT.
